Laurieston Primary School

Laurieston Primary School in Falkirk have been using the School App for Parents for almost 4 and a half years. Headteacher, Beverley Keith has found the app to be an integral addition for them.

“The App has supported us to improve communication with our community. Parents find the app easy to use and like the fact that all information is in the one place. Messages and letters are easily uploaded and can be issued via the app to pre-determined groups.””

Their app is managed brilliantly and they have an outstanding 988 downloads, with a pupil roll of 220, which shows the extent of the school community being reached. The news and date sections are updated regularly giving parents all the information they need when they need it. They have sent a total of  1,262,664 messages which equates to a saving of £101,013.12 (compared to an 8 pence text message).

Laurieston Primary School are taking advantage of the other great features the School App for Parents has to offer, including their Twitter account feeding directly into their News section. By having their news managed from one place, they are significantly reducing admin time.
