Muiredge Primary School

Muiredge Primary School in South Lanarkshire have been using the School App for Parents for 3 and a half years. Carolyn Muir who updates the app and sends messages to parents regularly has found the app to be an integral addition for them, especially over the past year.

Their app is managed brilliantly and they have an outstanding 1575 downloads, with a pupil roll of 349, which shows the extent of the school community being reached. The news and date sections are updated regularly giving parents all the information they need when they need it. They have sent a total of 1,957,725 messages which equates to a saving of £156,618.00 (compared to an 8 pence text message).

Muiredge Primary School are taking advantage of the other great features the School App for Parents has to offer, including an iCal feed to seamlessly sync their app dates from their school calendar. They also have their Twitter account feeding directly into their News section. By having their news and dates managed from one place, they are significantly reducing admin time.
